How to Clear Your Browser Cache Without Clearing Everything

Feb 6
1 min read

First try the easy version: reload the page with Ctrl + Shift + R on Windows or Command + Shift + R on Mac.

If that does not work:

1. Open your browser settings and find Privacy, History, or Clear browsing data.

2. Select Cached images and files.

3. Leave Passwords unchecked unless you intentionally want to remove saved passwords.

4. Clear the cache, close the browser, reopen it, and try the site again.

Tip: If the issue happens in only one browser, try the same page in another browser before changing more settings.
