Printer Won’t Print: Start Here

Jan 9
1 min read

Before reinstalling anything, run through these quick checks.

1. Make sure the printer is on and has no paper, ink, toner, or jam warning.

2. Confirm the computer and printer are on the same Wi‑Fi network, or check the USB cable.

3. Cancel old print jobs that are stuck in the queue.

4. Turn the printer off, restart the computer, then turn the printer back on.

5. Make sure you selected the correct printer before printing again.

If it still shows Offline, write down the printer model and the exact message you see. That makes remote troubleshooting much faster.
